Dual Education

Dual education is a practice-oriented training system (both at secondary and higher education level) in which theoretical education is provided by the school or university, while practical training is carried out simultaneously at a partner company.

From the very beginning, we joined the new dual education system, and over the decades we have provided practical training opportunities for several classes of secondary school students. To support technical education, years ago we co-founded Alkotó Jövő Nonprofit Ltd., where hundreds of students are still able to learn various professions today.

It is Important to inspire young people!

In addition to practical training, our company regularly organizes company presentations and factory visits for both general schools and technical secondary schools. During these events, we aim to raise young people’s interest in forging, machining and engineering careers.

At career orientation exhibitions, we also strive to present the mechanical engineering industry in an engaging and inspiring way for younger generations. Experiences gained at such events can have a long-term influence on career choices. However, for a mechanical engineering company, it is often a significant challenge to compete with spectacular demonstrations such as military or police exhibitions, action movie-style helicopter presentations, or live firefighting demonstrations involving burning vehicles. These are naturally very memorable visual experiences for young audiences.

That is why we also try to make the importance of our profession more visible. We often simply ask: “How did you arrive here today?” or “Who has a mobile phone?” Young people are always surprised to discover how closely our industry is connected to everyday life and to the essential devices and technologies they use daily.

At one exhibition, through the support of one of our major multinational partners, we even had the opportunity to present a complete Ferrari frame to the students. Events like these allow us to demonstrate how a Hungarian small enterprise can contribute to the manufacturing and fixture production of components for high-end luxury vehicles.
